Moving On...

It is with great regret that I must announce that I am leaving the DC.net administration.

While I once thought I was part of a team effort here, recent decisions (and there have been many) have been made by one person only. No team effort was present, and I feel as though my valuable time could be spent on better things.

With that said, I will announce here what I announced to the moderators yesterday: I will be continuing my efforts in the "Design Contest" business, starting my own contest-based website which will be launched over the next couple of months.

I have spent alot of tme here on DC.net, time which has shown nothing for me in return. I wish all of you the best of luck. Thanks for helping to build a community that has lots of potential.

Thanks for all your help and contributions. Best of luck to you in your upcoming website. Are you going to be posting a link to it? Or maybe that isn't allowed here. Take care.

John, I'm so sorry to see you go! You were a great admin... you dealt with problems in a professional manner and really gelled with the community. This place wouldn't have been the same without you!
Mind pm-ing me the link (or perhaps email would be better? blueleprikon AT gmail DOT com) so I can get it bookmarked? I'd love to become a member of your future project!
Good luck and thanks for all your hard work. I'm sure everyone really appreciated it!

I'll be very sad to see you go John. As you know I'm having problems finding time to run the design contest submissions, and with the invaluable help you've provided in the past, I'm going to panic if anything else comes up :P

I've appreciated your level-headedness and have drawn inspiration from your professionalism, and design techniques, it's going to be a huge loss for DC, but I do understand, I agree with your points.

I will also frequent your new venture as soon as I know where it is
