Stock Photography Sites

Hi there,

We are going to be developing templates for sale, & finding a good stock photography site that doesn't charge an arm & a leg b/c we are selling the templates over & over again has posed a challenge.

Normally I go with istock for everything, but they are too much, it's $150 or thereabouts per image.

We found Big Stock & their prices are very reasonable, but all of the pictures of the women on there look like plastic dolls.

Any other recommendations?

We are looking for good images, large selection.

hi there, i think google.com could help.. try find stockphotos, photobanks etc.

If you find smaller picture then you expected and you want it, you can try some utilities to resize image..
Some of then works really good.

You can try sxc.hu. You get large images for free. Very nice pictures too. You can also try stockexpert.com. Can get the pictures for a dollar or 2.

I work with Stock Photography: Search Royalty Free Images & Photos
They have a lot of great pictures, and easy search engine.

FogStock: We see what you mean. is local to Portland, OR and has a huge variety for being a medium-sized comp. They offer hip to business to travel to personal--pretty much have it all.
