Wacom redesign

Have you visited wacom.com recently? Did you see their new logo designed by Wolff Olins? What do you think about it?

I think that it is a shame that such a great company accepted such a logo

I've seen it for a while. First without the weird horns I though nice redesign because the old one was looked way too much like VIACOM. But when they added the weird horns I don't like it. Actually not sure the meaning of the logo. Would been better if they did something with a pen and a tablet in the logo.

Gawd... The first page is kinda a web 2.0 version of the horrific .gif-days in the late 90s.. :O

Chung Dha, I think it would be better if they had only text in the logo. This icon is terrible!

Also readability seems like something they think is overrated.. Maybe they're afraid someone actually is going to read their content? :P

I can't believe firms are getting paid major dollars to produce such horrible logo. I would like to know what the guys at Wolff Olins are smoking…

Probably they opened the filemap half open only looking at the name Wacom without seeing there was something above.

Wow, their entire company image has actually gotten worse IMO. Good example of a bad update.

fulgiest....eww with terrible gradients to boot.......what the heck does the shape represent??????
if it isn't broke why fix it.........and they fixed it BAD

I have a proposal: every Design Team member should make a (logo)design and send them to Wacom so they can choose from them a LOGO. :-)

In my opinion it's outdated, a mess and doesn't project anything specific. Awful colors.
Whoever accepted that logo ,made a big mistake
