Designer_Brief: I will start a new practice for general adult psychiatry and psychoanalysis in the centre of Vienna / Austria.The practice will be under my name and title (Dr.med.univ. Andreas Stavrou, Facharzt für Psychiatrie/ Psychoanalyse). The method of psychoanalysis will be the Freudian method (as opposed to the Jungian, Adlerian etc). I would like the logo to have a positive reflection of reaching mental wellness.

Thanks nancy! Head and pigeon interesting and optimistic concept. In my eyes, the head is too much the profile of a woman ( would like it to be less gender fixed), the top of the skull too big and inflated (like a Hydrocephalus) and the wing of the pigeon too small. What about giving more space to the pigeon ie its wing into the head?
Am a young psychiatrist and would like to give my clients/patients a more dynamic and innovativ "invitation" to visit my office. Could please consider this in the colors and fonts of the logo?

Thanx Maxson! Am very impressed by the nice idea to combine the sign of Psychoanalysis with the shape of the brain! However, it gives me the impression of a big psychiatric centre (something like a big mental hospital ie institution) that does not reflect the size of my office (one man=me bussiness). What i offer is a person to person therapeutic relationship to my patient and the will to support and counsel him or her through the crisis/disorder.
Maybe your suggestion gets a more personal touch by intergrating the Fonts (name, professional title) into the logo??

Thanks Geek! What i like here is the introduction of new fonts as well as the fact that the logo stands on the left (begining) of the whole structure. I also like the "Head" of the logo. Could you please give me more explanations on your motivation/symbolism of that "head"??

Maxson! Thanks. The last of all your proposals is very interesting and has a high density of the symbolism am interested in (Brain, Hands-Relationship, Psychoanalysis,Flower in a "vaze") - However thers is something (cannot specify it yet) that gives me the impression that this logo is "too concervative" (mybe the fonts?, the colors?). PLEASE go on creating/modifying.

Thanks Nhr. My first reaction by watching your suggestion was irritation: it looked to me like the head of a Jamaican singer in his curled hair. It took me a bit longer to appreciate the intergration of the "facharzt für psychiatrie/psychoanalyse" through the colored background in the whole construction as well as the fact that you have inserted the fonts/text in the middle of the logo. Have viewed some of your designs on your homepage and i was impressed by how you sometimes intergrated the initials of a company into their logo - could you imagine an intergration of my initials (AS or aS etc) in a logo of a psychiatric/psychoanalytic practice?? (I know this is a new perspective I am asking for but i wouldnt like to leave it absolutely out of consideration).
Another suggestion to stimulate imagination: lots of people associate psychiatry and psychoanalysis with the (freudian) couch.

My idea on the 'maze' that structures as a human head symbolizes psychology or psychoanalysis. Since your industry involves a system of psychological theory, observation/investigation and therapy, I thought of it as a puzzle or anything that evoke problem solving and providing solutions.

Dear Maxson, am not keen on the last revisions. I dont like the new color combinations and the curved fonts. What about a try to insert the LOGO on the left and the text on the right. Or even insert the text in the middle under/above the LOGO? From your designs up to now my favourits are: the one without hands in green/orange/blue/Gray and the one with hands in Blue/Green/Gray. Thanks.
