Waves with full moon casting on it. If this is incorrect let me know and I will come up with something else.

I like the darker blues but I want the company name to be more of the primary focus in the logo. To give you a little history, the company was originally called "Burdette Woodworking Co." in the 70's thru the 90's and was often referred to as simply "BWC" The company was sold in 2001 and renamed "Blue Water Cabinetry" to keep the BWC lettering. I was wondering what it would look like to have the BWC letters included in the image somehow, maybe in the waves or a reflection from the moon? How about a full moon or perhaps a seagull? Also I was thinking of adding a tag line, much smaller and lighter than the company name: "A commercial millwork fabricator serving the foodservice industry".

The reflected moon looks a little jagged. Maybe just stick with the full moon or the seagull idea from earlier.

FMD - On your next revision can you put only one seagull and I was thinking if you could do the waves in the BWC lettering it might look cool flowing away from a little island with a palmtree. Maxon - I am liking your design as well but I think it might be nicer with plamtrees insted of pines. We are thinking more island or ocean theme not so much mountain lake.

I added the palm tree and little island...still working on how to go about integrating the BWC.

FMD - I think you nailed it! I like the colors of the left side. Both the top and bottom could work if different situations. Can you add the tag line: A commercial millwork fabricator serving the foodservice industry in maybe italics and lighter than the company name. Eventually I would like versions with this, just the logo, the logo and the company name and the logo company name and the address and contact info. Can you do this in a live vector file as well as a JPEG? I will have a meeting tomorrow with my staff but I think we have a winner. To everyone that submitted designs, I appreciate your responses and I envy your talent. Thank you.

Here it is with the tagline you requested. I can do this in a vector file either pdf, eps, or ai and a high rez jpeg.

I like it FMD. I sent Nevadabadgirl a message to end the contest early. Can you make the tag line a little more darker? I like the grey. We would want any file type you can think of but definatly a live vector, PDF, and JPEG. In V5.1 we like the left two and the black and white. Would we get all of these? Also, what type of font is the lettering? Would be be able to duplicate it for our address and contact info? Thanks...

You would get a flat color version for print, i can make it a darker blue to your liking, the reversed out one on blue, the top one, and the black and white one if needed for any particular reason.

I will make a pdf, jpeg, and eps for all 4. I will make an adobe illustrator file with all 4 in there as well.

The font is Trajan Pro Bold and Regular. I should have those files soon. When vicki turns on your PM's we will discuss how to go about transferring the files.

Thanks!

Congratulations, :.FMD! Please send me a private message with your paypal address, and let me know once you've sent the files. Also, please include the name of the contest in the PM.

rspbluewater, thank you for hosting your contest with us, and congratulations on your new design! Please let me know once you've received the necessary files and I'll transfer the prize funds at that time.

I will now turn your ability to PM back on so you can communicate with the designer.

Vicki
