Need website design and logo for Mom's group

I need a website design and logo for a site for a Mom's group. It's just a group of stay-at-home moms, so we have little money to offer.

I need a logo that incorporates pictures of my children. I have a ton of photos of them on their personal websites (Ashton and Ryleigh). Or, babies and children that are drawn if you'd rather not work with real photos. It must be obviously family-related.

I don't really have a color preference, although I do love burgundy. I also need it to go well with the default vBulletin colors (like here) because I don't think I can handle changing all the colors myself to match a new logo. So, maybe burgundy and blue, with grey accents?

To give you an idea of what the site is about, here is the site that I created for Moms in the Dallas area- Dallas Area Moms. I've handed over that site to someone else and am now creating one for moms in Lewisville. It's basically a support group for moms. I created the logo on DAM, and I'm sure you can see why I'm looking beyond myself for this next site.

The domain name is lewisvillemoms.com. It will be called Lewisville Moms. You can also add a catch phrase if you can think of something creative. Something along the lines of "Moms Supporting Moms" or "Bringing Moms Together" or something equally cheesy.
Please, take pity on us moms. We need to connect to support one another.

I mainly need a logo for the site, but would also like a logo that can be used on Cafepress t-shirts, flyers to distribute around town, business cards, etc. And, I'd like a homepage with the logo and a little information about the group, then a link to the actual forums.

Thanks for any help you can give! I can only offer about $20-$30 ($20 for just the site logo, $30 if you will make the homepage and logo for t-shirts and business cards) for this because I am a stay-at-home-mom, so my family lives on one income.

My feedback: I like the 3rd one best. I don't really like the effects on the first two. I also need it to say "Lewisville Moms" because there is a national organization called MOMS Club that we are not associated with. I would also like for it to be more horizontal for the top of the forums page. But, these dimensions would work for a flyer or something. And, I want burgundy and blue in the letters with more dimension to them than what you have. Hope this helps.

Except, with kids on it and maybe more interesting letters. Either my kids or drawn kids. You could do the kids on the right, the words on the left or draw kids around the letters (not around as in wrapped around, but around as in nearby or leaning on, etc.).

Just in case you don't go back to read the original thread, I added a deadline of May 10. Is that long enough? Too long? I've never done anything like this, so I have no idea what is customary.

It gives people ample opportunity to enter the contest, and also opportunity for you to see a variety of different options to choose from.

But i will get to work...May 10th is a pretty long time, but if you can wait that long to decide one, more power to you, like penguin side you'll have more options by then.

Can you add burgundy somewhere? I want something besides all blue. Maybe burgundy letters with blue shadow? And, put my older child on there too (otherwise, I'll hear about it when they are 15...you know, favorites). And, maybe just one line on the L instead of 3. I do like the capital L and M, though.

Not really what I'm looking for. The colors aren't right, and the way the kids are arranged looks unnatural. The baby towers over my 2 year old.

I hand drew one of your baby pictures - it looks cartoony now

The baby face can be cleaned up slightly if you wish to use it, making the edges less jagged and more rounded, but it definitely does have a painted feel to it as that is what I had to do in order to make it.

I like the handpainted look. How hard would it be to make the whole baby? Like a crawling baby? or a baby sitting up? Just the head is kinda creepy, but I really like the look of it overall.
