Designer_Brief: Our group is not an organization, it's more of an idea, we want to establish a model for setting up a recycling chapter/group that can be implemented anywhere in North America. We won't be charging anything, we will just lay out the steps on how to go about starting a recycling group.

Steps involve:
1) Contact information for companies that accept items to be recycled.
2) Set up collection points: churches, organizations and classrooms.
3) Market through word of mouth/Facebook/Phone.
4) Specify items that will be donated. Posters.
5) Mailing system, how could people mail you items.
6) Get everyone involved, all ages and faiths.
7) Collaborate with other existing orgs.
8) Recruit regular volunteers, specifically youth who need hours for community service (high school/middle school)

We are up and running in Philly right now, and we think if we have a good presentable attractive model, it would be implemented in other cities.

In terms of colors, we are eying earth tones, but we don't want a pastel look either. (unless you feel it doesn't suit the descriptions above) Our domain name is Project Clean Earth . org. We want 'Clean Earth' in the logo (you may put the word project, in script at an angle on the top, as long as its not highlighted or center piece of the logo) Tag line: it's optional to put it on the logo, so, feel free to do what you think is best: 'leading a cleaner life, one city at a time' in terms of ideas, we want to stay away from globes, landscape, unless they are animated, a globe with a face, is fine, but a solid globe is cliche.

http://www.ac-nancy-metz.fr/enseign/...cleanearth.gif this is a cute idea, but again, its clip-artish vibe: fresh, vibrant, attractive to 13-18 age group, funny, loud, target audience is 13-18, so, it should be cool enough that they wouldn't be embarrassed wearing it on a t-shirt for example. again, most important part for us is the vibe, if you have other ideas, suggestions, feel free to incorporate them. after all we are not designers. you are the designer.

Slightly confused as it says "Everyone can participate!", yet the Sig says "You MUST be a member of the Design Team to enter the contests." Plus there is also a prize for the winner.

alright here goes my first try the leaves are supposed to represent the recycle sign. i'll be happy to make changes or go in a completely different direction if you want. thanks!

I really like the concept but it needs modifications:

- I like the idea of the leafs coming together, maybe instead leaves you can have people? people holding hands to form the recycle sign.

- Putting a glowing/sparking globe inside the circle, the globe with blue and another color that marks it. Perhaps read or something fun? The planet should sparkle or stand out.

-Funny/Cartoonish font

-Fun and refreshing.

You may either continue with the same concept or suggest another concept.

OK here's some revisions to the leaves idea (the leaves are supposed to hint at the recycle logo btw) and added the globe in various sizes. also, since you mentioned in your brief that you want this logo to appeal to teenagers (and I being a teenager, albeit only for a bit longer) I designed the bottom logo as something I or one of my friends would find cool and wear on a shirt comments and crits always appreciated

Ok, for NancyCarter: Can you highlight that logo more, (the two leafs and blue droplet): As for colors, can you tone down the green a bit?

rindalidesigns : We really love your submission. Perfect concept. Can you also tone down the green? Maybe go with blue/yellow color theme. Enlarge the globe, and give it a more shine/glow (as if its a sun) a 2-3 rays coming from the side, maybe.
