Title: Logo design for new church

Company_Details: The new church is called "The Journey". We are going
to be targeting families and young singles with little or no past church experience. We are very community outreach focused and have a relaxed, personal style in our worship services.

Examples: We love the simple style of the design contest logo!

Colors: Our colors are eggplant purple ,sage green ,taupe and silver

Style: Our desired style is modern, simple, with a possible nature edge
to it. Our letterhead paper is the color of brown paper packaging and
looks really earthy. We want a logo that is focused on simple text with a
small graphic that can be used independently. No crosses hearts or doves please. Maybe a compass done abstractly or a road.... Must be a vector graphic. Thanks

ag eric,
You are so creative! I liked the way you put the road in the y! Maybe try the logo in only two or three colors and remove the background to simplify it a little. We are looking for something that we can use on shirts, mugs, and everything else fun. I really need something that can be done in one color when necessary. Your style is nice and clearly presented! Thanks

CA logos- This design is nice. I like the mountains and the natural style.I think that the feet may be too much. Try taking them off and trying something else instead. I like the font style.

I am really looking for something that can be used indepentently from the text, a symbol that can be used alone and text that can be used alone or both together. It makes things much more flexible.

here's my second entry. going for a more simplistic look this time. color can be added, but i think this design is strong even in only black and white. still going with the path theme, but also added the sunlight as a symbol for hope. being at its dawning, it symbolizes that this place is a place of new beginnings, or new hope. just my take on it. hope you like! -eric

I saw this contest last night and decided to buy in. Unfortunately, my first concept shows that ag_eric and I were on the same page with the font style and graphic.

Anyways, here's my first idea and I do have other ideas to be worked on.

I like the style of simple san serif font with small graphic with a shadow just on the graphic. I also really like the design contest logo with it's simple font and small unique graphic. Let's see if someone gets inspired to do something in a more technical style. Our church is full of engineers! They have this particular style....

Going off on another tangent here. Hope you like! I feel this logo is strong both in its entirety and the double e character would be a strong identifier in itself.

I like the infinity and beyond idea! Could you try it in another way maybe with a shadow and another shape other than the circle. You sure think out of the box!
