new logo design for church

I need to come up with a new logo to be used in our letterheads,website, etc.

I belong to the Church of the Sacred Heart parish located right in the middle of the city. Aside from catering to our parishioners spiritual needs, we dedicate ourselves to the needs of all God's people, especially the poor in our neighborhood.

A logo design that would reflect our church's presence in the city, goals, service would be appropriate. I can only afford $50 to the design most fitting.

We are developing a website with red/gray/black as the prominent colors.

This looks good but our pastor prefers not to use the heart (even if we are the Church of the Sacred Heart). More emphasis probably on the city and the people being served.

definitely better and closer to what we have in mind. can you try working with a skyline? (to reflect the city)

not meaning to rush anyone but, we need to decide on a logo asap.

Here is my concept. I would definitely touch up the skyline buildings for a final draft and font changes are easy.
